How to Save Links
You can save content to Later in various ways, whether you are browsing the web or using social media apps like TikTok.
Via Share Extension
Whenever you find interesting content in any app (e.g., Safari, Twitter, TikTok):
- Tap the system Share button.
- Find and tap Later from the app list in the share sheet.
- The link will be automatically saved to your inbox in the background.

Via Shortcuts (Recommended)
For a more efficient or automated workflow, Later is deeply integrated with iOS Shortcuts.
- Quick Import: You can use Later's "Save Link" action within the Shortcuts app to create your dedicated quick entry. You can even bind it to the iPhone's Action Button or Back Tap gesture for true one-tap saving.
- Silent Background Processing: Links passed through Shortcuts are processed completely in the background. Later will automatically extract web content, fetch metadata, and generate AI summaries without interrupting your current task or reading flow. This is the most highly recommended "seamless collection" method for Later.

Manual Import in App
You can also open the Later app directly. If you have just copied a link, the app will automatically recognize your clipboard content and prompt you to save it, or you can manually paste the link via the import entry on the home screen.
